Who We Are
Kristin Meyer
B.A. (Hons.), MFT (Cert.), M.A.
P.A. (Independent Practice)
Registered with the Psychological Association of Manitoba to practice independently, and a member with Manitoba Psychological Society, Manitoba Association Of School Psychologists, and permanently certified School Psychologist with Manitoba Education.
I have worked in private practice since 2008, as a School Psychologist with the Child Guidance Clinic of Winnipeg, and in various other public sector settings, including St. Amant Centre, Klinic Community Health, and Osborne House. My focus is on assessment and diagnosis of conditions such as Intellectual Disability, ADHD, FASD, Autism Spectrum Disorders, Specific Learning Disorders, anxiety, and depression. My school psychology training and experience allows me to work collaboratively with all those in the child’s context: teachers, school clinical team, parents, other professionals (for example psychiatry, paediatricians, Child and Family Services, etc). My goal is to assist children, schools, and families by identifying any limiting factors in the child’s context and working collaboratively with the child’s team to develop plans for how to support them in optimizing their performance.
Jenessa Suszynski
B.A. (Hons.), M.Ed. (School and Applied Child Psychology)
Clinical Associate
I completed my Master's in Education degree in June 2023 at the University of Calgary, specializing in School and Applied Child Psychology. My degree focus has been on cognitive and academic assessment and interventions. I received my Bachelor of Arts with Honours degree from the University of Winnipeg, with a major in Psychology and a minor in Conflict Resolution. I have over 17 years of experience directly supporting adults living with various developmental disorders, such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Intellectual Disabilities, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, as well as brain trauma disorders, anxiety, and depression related disorders.
My areas of interest include culturally appropriate assessments and interventions, resiliency and the factors that build resilience, and interventions that help build communication and social skills. My goal is to assist children and youth (and their support networks) in identifying their strengths and weaknesses and provide suggestions to help build upon their skills and optimize their performance.

My current focus is on the assessment and diagnosis of various conditions including Intellectual Developmental Disorder, Specific Learning Disorders, Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, anxiety, and depression disorders. Glenn Allard
B.A., M.A. CSC
Director of Northern Affairs
I graduated from the University of Manitoba with a BA and MA in Psychology. I worked for 36 years as a certified School Psychologist in the Winnipeg school division (Child Guidance Clinic and Clinical Support Services), serving all levels from nursery to adult in all areas of the city. I have always valued a strong connection with the parents of the children with whom I work. Schools are an incredibly important partner in the wider circle of children's lives, and integral for ensuring all children achieve the best they can to live happy fulfilling lives. Psychology, working in collaboration with parents and schools, is critical to children’s success.
I was enticed out of retirement with the opportunity to begin providing assessment services to the Northern regions of Manitoba––an area that has long been greatly underserved. My trips North have been very gratifying and have each time provided me with new valuable insights into the lives of fellow Manitobans.
I look forward to more opportunities to grow and experience life in the North and to offer my service to support Frontier School Division children and youth in any way I can.
Sherri Rice
B.A. (Hons.), M.A.
Clinical Associate
I am currently employed with the Winnipeg School Division (WSD) on a full-time basis. The majority of my current caseload at WSD is within the inner city, where much of my work is centered around needs assessments and behavioural support. I have a personal interest in specific learning disabilities.
I enjoy working with a variety of parents within the WSD and collaborating with them to expand their knowledge of their children’s learning needs. Providing empathy, knowledge, and intervention suggestions are essential for parents, though they must be delivered at the appropriate time and in the appropriate manner. I believe each family must be considered for the unique relationships they bring into the assessment process in order for an assessment to achieve its goals. Excellent understanding of clinical practice can only be effective through a good working relationship with families.
